A Visionary Redefining Dubai’s Real Estate & Finance

A truly humble visionary on a mission to redefine the financial consulting and real estate industry in Dubai, Surandar Jesrani is the new force to reckon with in Dubai’s corporate sector.

Coming from humble beginnings, Surandar has always been fascinated with the real estate market ever since he was young. Contrary to familial expectations, Surandar took up a career in business finance and economics as he was immensely connected with the field.

From Intern to Industry Expert: 20+ Years of Insight

As a young adult fresh out of college and working as an intern, Surandar started suggesting home properties for peers & colleagues based on his own research and understanding of their needs and requirements as well as their demographic based on their family life. He found properties that matched their requirements and budget while also ensuring a decent appreciation in property value for posterity. With over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, Surandar considers himself to be an exemplary real estate advisor while referring to contemporary market research, up-to-date product knowledge and a sincere understanding of the customer demographic.

Surandar has a natural passion for real estate. In his free time, he enjoys perusing the properties of well-known developers and tries to consider it from different angles with an aim to match each developments’ property to different types of target users, trying to ascertain what would work for which customer and whether it would be a wise investment. Self-taught in real estate knowledge due to a natural curiosity and attraction to the sector, Surandar understands the finance and economics part of the industry; this combination of skills is a service offering unlike many others in Dubai’s real estate market.

“I’m on a journey to share my knowledge… so clients can make meaningful decisions.”

Global Experience & Client-First Leadership

Whether the client is an individual looking for a personal home or investment, or an institution or conglomerate looking to purchase commercial properties for further builds; Surandar believes that each client is important in their own right, and deserves the full attention and empathy of the broker to ensure the transaction culminates in a positive light for the customer.

A chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Surandar would like to revolutionize the real estate market in the next 10 years. Building a business has always been his passion as he loves to create. So, creating a Real Estate Consulting business comes very naturally to him. With his has vast experience working with multinational conglomerate Larsen & Toubro, with General Motors, with Infosys in India & Belgium, and with HSBC private equity in the UAE; following which he started MMJS Consulting 5 years ago which now has over 100+ staff across the GCC & India providing tax consulting, management consulting and technology consulting. After tasting success with MMJS, Surandar launched Aaronz & Co. as the real estate venture of MMJS Group.

A Family Man, Perfectionist, and Empathetic Leader

A family man, Surandar was greatly influenced by his father and believes in going above and beyond the call of duty by thinking extra and doing extra; by doing more than what has been asked of him. It’s no surprise that his friends describe him as passionate about his work, while his peers & employees collectively brand him as a source of inspiration.

“Standing still is equal to stagnating in the industry.”

A self-proclaimed perfectionist, Surandar is in a state of constant progressive evolution as he believes that growth is a way of life, and he also enjoys solving problems and not sweating the small stuff. While this may seem conflicting, Surandar’s approach is aligned in both aspects – instead of agonizing over problems – big or small – he prefers to think clearly to find solutions.

“I started MMJS Consulting to follow my passion, to create employment, and to become a 100-person company.”

The consummate leader, Surandar believes that empathy is important to understand people, and that a leader is responsible for the outcome of everybody; the leader has to take ownership of the entire operation, whether good or bad.
